Just like any company, when we had a need for an account manager we searched amongst some of the most talented and experienced candidates in the Dayton, Ohio area. So, who really stuck out from the bunch? Scott Rogers.
Scott comes from a background in healthcare marketing as well as web communications. Before spreading his wings at Upward, he served as the Marketing Research and Data Specialist at Kettering Health Network (hence why he loves to spread his knowledge of the healthcare industry to others any chance he has – let’s face it, he knows his healthcare marketing).
At Kettering, his crowning achievement was working on the research, data, branding and everything in between for the rebranding project of the cancer service line. The cancer service line had a network of seven hospitals and they all fell under one umbrella. The goal was to have all seven individual facilities recognized as one, and Scott and his team succeeded.
Before Kettering, Scott served as the Director of Web Communications for the Office of Congressman Michael R. Turner. There, he was not only on the political frontlines, but he also managed all web, communications, social and video efforts for Turner’s campaign.
At Upward, he serves as a client strategist, which involves project research – both qualitative and quantitative, account management and serves as the healthcare marketing expert for our healthcare agency, Genessa.
Now that the formal introduction is complete, let’s get to the fun stuff:
